presents Walk a Mile in My Shoes: Encouraging Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

An online class taught by Pam Bean of Montana Fair Housing, Inc for a total of four CE hours.

Description:

The goal is to provide housing providers with the information to avoid violations and to identify potential violations of the non-discrimination laws. This course will identify practices appearing in markets that can be discriminatory, or lead to discriminatory impacts. Contact information for agencies and organizations available for clarification or support is provided.

For consumers seeking housing-related services – in the rental or sales markets – the workshop model provides information necessary to understand what federal, state, and local non-discrimination laws cover and do not cover. In addition, the information will help consumers identify potential violations of the non-discrimination laws, provide contact information for consumers to reach resources that may assist them in: resolving potential violations pre-filing of complaints, provide services to investigate allegations, and provide assistance to file complaints of housing discrimination when necessary.

This is the course number: 21-GFAR-116C

Costs:  Western Montana Chapter of NARPM – Free

NARPM Members (Non-Western MT Chapter members) – $40
